Let’s start with a fact

I think this fact is quite a potent way to start my thinkings here.

1.1 billion out of 6.3 billion people across 109 countries live in multidimensional poverty.

What is Multidimensional poverty

According to ScienceDirect.com – Multidimensional poverty is defined as a condition that encompasses not only income deprivation but also various non-monetary factors such as health, education, and living standards. It requires the use of a measurement framework that includes indicators, weights, and a poverty index to evaluate the extent of poverty beyond monetary metrics. (source)

Why I thought this?

The truth is, my mind keeps getting hung up on the people who truly need help—the 1.1 billion faces hidden behind that cold poverty stat. Their lives are a constant, exhausting cycle of deprivation and fear, all while they stand in the shadow of a global economy that completely shuts them out. When our ‘success’ doesn’t help ease their pain, then what good is it, really? It’s morally bankrupt.
